The real property division has expertise in the valuation of commercial, church, institutional, and special-use properties. We have experience in the appraisal of all commercial property-types including hotels, industrial, retail, multi-family, affordable housing, office, schools, churches, farms, recreational tracts of land, subdivision development, airport hangars, self-storage, mobile home parks, NNN single tenant retail properties, and more. We also perform review appraisal services.
We also have a right of way group in the firm that performs appraisals for right of way and just compensation purposes. We work with the government and government consultants for right of way road projects, and utility companies for infrastructure development as well as private property owners impacted by a given project. We have performed expert litigation services as well as assisted in mediation disputes. We also perform mediation and review appraisal services.
We work with Mining Engineers, Professional Geologists, Foresters, and Land Managers in our Mineral Rights and Long Term Natural Resource Extraction Valuation Group. We have experience in the valuation of mineral property at all stages of development from speculative resource, to permitted and undeveloped, to active wells, mine, or quarry, to shut-in or idle operations, to completed mine under various stages of reclamation. Each State has nuances and we work throughout the country and sometimes will team with other industry specialists when needed as these properties can be complex assignments. This group has appraised well over a million acres of property.
